nomAId 2.0 – what's changed?

2026-04-10

The blog is alive. And it just got a solid dose of new features. Here’s what’s new in nomAId version 2.0.

1. Language pack – the blog in English

This is the biggest change in this update. Every post on the blog is now also available in English.

How does it work? The blog runs on Hugo, which lets you write in Markdown. LLMs handle this format remarkably well – translating with Claude Code turned out to be surprisingly smooth. The result is already visible – just switch the language in the menu. Soon, a detailed article about how the whole process works behind the scenes will appear on deos.blog.

2. Coloring pages with Zora – here to stay

For the last few posts, I’ve been attaching coloring pages featuring Zora to each article – free to download directly from the site. In every post you’ll find two files or a five-page booklet in PDF after signing up for the mailing list.

The coloring pages always tie thematically to the specific article and are created with the help of AI. This upgrade is here to stay – although the creation process itself is still being refined. What does it look like from the technical side? That’s also coming soon to deos.blog.

3. Podcast – proof of concept

Sometimes you don’t feel like reading. I get it. That’s why one of the posts now features the first episode – a conversation between nomaid and Zora about the article. link to the post

For now it’s just one experiment, but the direction is interesting. I got the idea from Google’s NotebookLM – and in the process discovered that building your own private version doesn’t have to be hard at all.

4. Shop

A new tab has appeared in the menu: Shop. There you’ll find products created from my photos, available through Redbubble. In the future, selected products may also appear directly within articles.

5. Instagram

I removed the Instagram tab because that project is no longer alive – everything that’s being created now takes the form of blog posts. Instagram required logging in anyway, so I believe it’s an unnecessary project at this point.

A lot is happening. And this is only version 2.0.
